Scheduled
We have a scheduled maintenance related to US1 WhatsApp API

Maintenance window: 2021-06-29 10:00 UTC to 11:45 UTC.
Impact: Clients may experience delayed delivery and receipt of WhatsApp messages during the maintenance window. Messages will be queued. The API will have a maximum downtime of 10 minutes during the window.

Affected endpoint: us1.whatsapp.api.sinch.com
Planned maintenance of this endpoint occurs on the second and last Tuesday each month, between 10:00 UTC and 11:00 UTC.

Release notes can be found here: https://developers.sinch.com/docs/release-notes-whatsapp

IMPORTANT: WhatsApp has informed us that starting June 29, they will no longer support the TTL parameter in the API.
As such it is important that you update your backend platform so it does not send TTL as part of the WhatsApp API request.
If your backend system continues to include this past June 29th, the TTL parameter will be ignored.

Below is the information shared by WhatsApp on this:
"TTL is to ensure that a message will be expired (never be delivered), if the message can't be delivered within the TTL window.
After the deprecation, the template messages will work the same as the regular message; there is no more TTL window and instead the message will be delivered as soon as the receiver becomes available"
