As part of our continuous improvements to our platform, we will be moving our REST API end point in Europe to a new set of load balancers. This will impact clients that have IP whitelisting in place for
- eu1.sms.api.sinch.com and - api-eu1.clxcommunications.com
We will also be disabling weak and insecure cipher suites that are accepted as part of TLS 1.2 handshake
The maintenance is scheduled below:
Type: Scheduled Maintenance Maintenance: EU1 - REST API
Start Time: 2022-09-27 08:00 UTC End Time: 2022-09-27 09:00 UTC
Impact Clients need to make sure there is no dependency on their applications on ciphers that are not listed here
These are the ciphers that will be allowed. ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 ECDHE-ECDSA-CHACHA20-POLY1305 ECDHE-RSA-CHACHA20-POLY1305 DHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 DHE-RSA-AES128-GCM-SHA256
FQDNs being moved: - eu1.sms.api.sinch.com and - api-eu1.clxcommunications.com
Additional IP Addresses to be added: • Clients connecting to Sinch: 220.127.116.11, 18.104.22.168 • Clients accepting DR's or MO's from Sinch: No Change Needed.
Please add the additional IP Addresses to the whitelisting (or any IP rules) on your outbound message flows that may prevent your platform from sending messages to Sinch.
Please ignore the maintenance if your application/organisations uses FQDN's api.clxcommunications.com or the other listed FQDNs and do not use our IP's in your API configurations, IP whitelisting or firewall rules for your outbound traffic to our platform.
If you reach our API platform via an IPSec VPN tunnel, this change will not impact you.
If for any reason the maintenance is extended or cancelled we will advise you accordingly.
