One of our 3rd party providers has scheduled a planned maintenance as part of a large-scale project to upgrade code on their IP platform. The upgrade will mitigate an existing defect in the current software version and prevent future network outages.

This maintenance will impact the PayPal Ashburn circuit* which connects the US4 private WAN backbone [MPLS] with PayPal’s network. Since there is a redundant circuit** PayPal may experience packet loss and high latency during the traffic failover.
And also this will impact our US4 Primary MPLS Circuit* , redundant circuits** will not be impacted , due to which no production traffic impact is expected. During the activity traffic will failover to the redundant links and expected impact is loss of redundancy.
